Near the end of my Army career Rebecca came into my life. She was artistic, intelligent, and I feel in love at first sight. This is not just my story but the story of how I became a photographer.
I had always loved photography but to be honest no one really supported the notion. My creativity was put away deep in my mind. Once I found it, there was no stopping me. Rebecca made it possible and has always been my greatest supporter. She came into my life near the end of my Army career and supported my love of photography. Taking a trip down the Oregon coast with my father solidified that love and I have been hooked ever since.
Never did I plan on taking portraits but the best plans of mice and men, as the saying goes. A friend, without whom Rebecca and I would not be, asked me to take her child's senior high school pictures. The reaction I received solidified in my mind that I wanted to take people photos. There my stumbling path traveled and now I want to share with you my wisdom, follies, and inspiration.

Rebecca DevereauxThe Inspiration
The confidence to be a photographer would not ever have happened without this beautiful woman coming into my life. She is my inspiration.
